Orange and Brown Jig

Orange and Brown Jig is a dependable weighted jig nymph designed for trout and grayling fishing. Its brown, buggy body gives a natural food profile, while the orange bead creates a strong hotspot that helps attract attention in moving water.

Tied on a jig hook, this pattern is designed to ride point-up, helping reduce snags when fishing close to the riverbed. The weighted bead helps the fly sink quickly through riffles, glides, pockets, deeper runs, and pools.

A useful choice for Euro nymphing, upstream nymphing, and general river fishing, Orange and Brown Jig is especially effective when fish are responding to natural tones with a bright trigger point.
